COVID-19 & Nourishd
We may have been a bit playful on social media with the Corona Virus, but rest assured that the health and safety of our customers and community are of upmost importance to us. Our number one value as a company is ‘We Are Humans Before We Are Numbers’ and now more than ever we are standing by that.
Through this time, Nourish’d will continue to provide fresh, healthy, and safe meals to our customers - new and old. There is no evidence that COVID-19 can be spread or transmitted through food, and we are staying abreast of all new data as it comes to light.
We work with a number of suppliers to deliver our meals to your door, and have reached out to each of them to ensure that together we are all implementing measures to ensure the safety of our customers and staff. Here’s how we’re going about doing that:
100% of the time, our kitchen facility adhere to the always required health and safety policies and procedures required by law in Australia. The staff remain vigilant in all areas of food and personal safety, and will continue to adhere to strict hand washing, protective equipment, and sanitisation policies.
The safety of our staff, both in HQ, our kitchen facility, and across our couriers is of highest priority. Our HQ staff have all been offered the option of working from home (so please bare with us as we navigate the logistics of this customer service wise), and our kitchen team are being monitored closely.
Some changes have been made to the way we do deliveries to ensure the safety of both the drivers, and our customers. Couriers will now no longer ring your bell or knock at your door. Instead they will leave your box either per your instructions, or at your door. It is essential therefore that you put your mobile phone number on your order, to ensure you receive your text message to notify you of arrival. We recognise that for some of our customers it can be difficult to pick up a box of food from the ground, so we would suggest placing a chair or small table at your front door for the courier to leave the box on.
With more people self-isolating, the demands on courier companies will continue to increase, so we appreciate your patience in this time.
As much as we can, Nourishd will continue to support our Australian community, particularly those most vulnerable. As a small business, we know we can’t do massive things, but we can do good things. So if you need help, reach out and we will do what we can, or help you to get the help you need.
Above all, we ask everyone to be kind, stay safe, and take care of each other.
