Staying on the healthy bandwagon can be hard. Life can get super busy and we get tired.
Sometimes we want to hit snooze and then we feel like we need to skip breakfast because we will be late otherwise.
Skipping breakfast = not so good. You will potentially make poor food choices for the rest of the day.
Well our boss is a pretty busy lady. Running a business and looking after two kids… She wants to hit snooze every day! But can’t… so she shared with us one of her hacks to making sure she eats breakfast.
She also gets loads of extra nutrients in her diet by making these smoothies, and saves time! Wining!
(and did I mention the kids love them too?)
What you will need –
Zip lock bags sized medium
Fruit and veg to chop and bag and put in the freezer
Coccount water or a good veggie juice to add when you throw it all in the blender. (water is fine to use as well. or your choice of milk for one of the combos below)
Smoothie combos to try-
The Antioxidant Refresh
Dice small portions of the following and divide into days. Pop into a zip lock bag for each day and freeze. Each morning grab a bag, put into the blender and add a small cup of juice or coconut water.
Cucumber
Banana
Apple
Ginger
Blueberries
Carrot ( grated)
Celery
Avocado
Berry Nuts
Dice up and portion into bags as mentioned above-
Banana
Strawberries
Blueberries
Avocado
Each day grab a bag and pop into the blender. Add Almond milk and a large scoop of peanut or almond butter.
Clean and Green
Dice up and bag the following
Cucumber
Banana
Spinach or kale leaves
Green apple
Avocado
Blueberries
Add to blender and add coconut water.
There are so many combos out there so feel free to get creative.
