Look, it’s no secret that we all like a little toasted banana bread with our butter #amiright. Well here’s the perfect healthy solution – of course as with everything, moderation is key!
1/2 Cup Ultimately Natural Banana Protein Powder
1/2 Cup Almond Meal
1/2 Cup Gluten Free Whole Oats
1tsp Baking Soda
2 Mashed Bananas
1 Mashed Apple (boiled)
2tsp Coconut Oil
200ml Coconut Milk
Squeeze of Lemon Juice
1. Mix dry ingredients together in one bowl, and wet ingredients in another.
2. Combine both bowls and mix thoroughly
3. Once you have a delicious looking gooey batter, pour into a deep bread baking dish.
4. Cook for approx 45 minutes at 160 degrees. Test regularly with a knife – once the batter is set, your cake is done!
Want to give it that little extra….chuck in some frozen raspberries and dust with oats on top. People will think you’re allllllll that!
